Do you provide towing?

We hope you don’t need it, but if you do need a tow we recommend Liberty Towing (608) 291-0707. They will assist you and they are familiar with our location.

Routine Service Checks
What routine checks need to be performed on my auto?

You should check the following items regularly and prior to any long trip: * Engine oil level * Coolant level * Brake system fluid level * Windshield washing system * Tire pressure If you have any question about performing these checks, please contact us.

Transportation
Do you provide local transportation when servicing a car?

Dave's Auto Service offers courtesy rides to our Customers within the immediate Area.

Brake Fluid Flush
Why should I flush my brake fluid?

Most manufacturers recommend changing brake fluid every two years. Brake fluid absorbs moisture out of the air and it can become saturated with water. The water overtime will cause damage to the brake components. This is particularly important with anti lock brakes and the expensive brake components involved.

Coolant Flush
Why should I flush my cooling system.

The coolant in your engine not only provides antifreeze protection but also maintains boiling point and inhibits corrosion. Over time it's properties change and the chemicals begin to attack the aluminum engine parts and gaskets.

To keep your engine cool and prevent costly cooling system repairs we highly recommend that your coolant be changed every 3 years or according to the manufacturers recommendation.

Oil Changes
Do you do oil changes?

Yes we do! All oil changes are full service. We replace oil with Valvoline oil in the recommended grade (usually 5W30), replace the oil filter, and lube the door hinges and locks.  We top off all fluids, check tire pressure, and inspect vehicles mechanical condition. Please call to make an appointment as it usually takes around 40 minutes.
